Pure PTFE Braided Seal and Impregnated PTFE Braided Seal are two sealing materials with different processing methods. Their main differences lie in the material processing technology and application characteristics.
Material composition:
Pure PTFE Braided Sea: Mainly woven from 100% polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) fibers without special treatment.
Imregnated PTFE Braided Seal: After special impregnation treatment, usually impregnated with polytetrafluoroethylene dispersion to improve its performance.
Performance characteristics:
Pure PTFE Braided Sea:
Excellent chemical resistance, resistant to almost all chemicals.
Good temperature resistance, can be used in the temperature range of -250°C to +260°C.
Good friction resistance.
Imregnated PTFE Braided Seal:
Chemical resistance and temperature resistance are not as good as pure PTFE packing.
When choosing to use Pure PTFE Braided Sea or Impregnated PTFE Braided Seal, it is necessary to consider factors such as actual working conditions, media type, temperature, pressure, etc.
