FEP Encapsulated O Ring for ISO Tank Manlid

FEP encapsulated O-rings are a product that combines the elasticity and sealing properties of rubber with the wear resistance and chemical resistance of FEP. The interior of this O-ring is usually made of silicone rubber or fluororubber, and is covered with a relatively thin layer of FEP material. Compared with ordinary rubber O-rings, FEP encapsulated O-rings have better chemical corrosion resistance and sealing performance, and are suitable for almost all harsh environments.

Specifically, FEP encapsulated O-rings have the following main features:

  1. **Chemical resistance**: Excellent resistance to a variety of corrosive chemicals, including alcohols, aromatic solvents, naphtha, acids, and petroleum spirits.
  2. **Temperature resistance**: Able to maintain stable performance over a wide temperature range, FEP can withstand temperatures of -76°F to 400°F (-60°C to 204°C).
  3. **Excellent sealing performance**: Retains the compression and recovery characteristics of traditional elastomers, while having low friction coefficient, flexibility, weather resistance and toughness.
  4. **Low hygroscopicity**: Almost no moisture absorption, suitable for a variety of environments.

Therefore, FEP encapsulated O-rings are widely used in fields that require high chemical resistance and excellent sealing performance, especially in applications in harsh environments and wide temperature ranges.
