Detailed introduction of each classification and application range of PTFE packing

PTFE Packing

PTFE packing is made of pure PTFE dispersion resin, first made into raw film, then twisted and woven into packing. This packing has no other additives and can be widely used in food, pharmaceutical, papermaking, chemical fiber and other industries with high cleanliness requirements and valves and pumps with strong corrosive media.

Scope of application: Maximum operating temperature: 260℃ Maximum operating pressure: 2.0MPa PH value: 0-14.

PTFE split wire packing

PTFE split wire packing is woven from stretched and reinforced PTFE fibers and then impregnated with PTFE emulsion. This packing can be used in various chemical media and has a certain strength and low friction coefficient. Since PTFE products have poor thermal conductivity and a large thermal expansion coefficient, this packing is often used in rotating parts with low linear speeds (less than 4m/s).

Scope of application: Maximum operating temperature: 260℃ Maximum operating pressure: 6.3MPa PH value: 0-14.

Graphite PTFE Packing

Graphite PTFE Packing is woven from PTFE wire containing graphite particles. It has strong tear strength and high thermal conductivity, and its low friction coefficient makes it stable and long-lasting.

It is recommended for pump shaft sealing, and can also be used for agitators, mixers, autoclaves and centrifugal pumps that seal water, steam, solvents and other media.

Aramid Fiber Packing

Aramid fiber packing is woven from aramid fiber impregnated with PTFE emulsion and lubricant. It has good chemical resistance, high rebound and low cold flow. Aramid packing has excellent high speed and high modulus properties (called artificial metal wire).

Therefore, compared with other types of packing, it can resist granular crystallization media and higher temperatures. It can be used alone or in combination with other packings. It is a good asbestos substitute in pump systems.

The most outstanding performance is high strength, and it also has good chemical resistance, high rebound, low cold flow, and easy and quick disassembly. It is widely used in various industrial fields.

Aramid carbon fiber mixed braided packing

Aramid carbon fiber mixed braided packing is made of different materials such as aramid fiber packing, carbon fiber packing, and PTFE fiber packing. Taking full advantage of the advantages of various materials, it is a high-quality sealing material that can meet the requirements that various packings cannot achieve when used alone.

Mainly used for sealing on rotating pump shafts. It is most suitable for sealing on high-pressure and high-load equipment.

Flax impregnated PTFE packing

Flax impregnated PTFE packing is woven from flax impregnated PTFE packing ramie and flax yarn textile fibers, pre-impregnated with PTFE PTFE emulsion, and fully impregnated with a lighter color special PTFE emulsion and barrier agent again during the square braiding process. It has good sealing, lubricity and extremely medium resistance. Equipment: rotary pumps, plunger pumps, valves, mixers, etc.

Industry: universal packing for pumps and valves. Medium: Suitable for all media except strong acid, strong alkali and strong oxidant.

Due to the reliable performance of PTFE packing, in many occasions, PTFE packing can replace other types of packing and is suitable for various types of pumps, such as turbine pumps, centrifugal pumps, rotary pumps and reciprocating pumps, etc. In addition, it can also be used for sealing equipment such as dryers, mixers, agitators, valves, etc. Significant economic benefits, due to the long service life of PTFE packing, it can reduce your downtime and the additional expenses caused by frequent replacement of packing, thereby truly reducing your packing use cost. Shenzhen Dechengwang mainly produces advanced sealing materials, mainly including PTFE packing, PTFE elastic belt, aramid packing series, PTFE rods, plates, tubes, films and various gasket series and other PTFE sealing materials and products.
