PTFE Envelop Gasket Flange Seal

Flange gaskets are key sealing elements in ISO Tank Container flange connections. Their main functions include:
1. **Sealing and leakproof**: Filling the microscopic unevenness of the flange contact surface to form a tight barrier to prevent leakage of liquid, gas or dust, especially for hazardous chemicals and high-pressure media.
2. **Pressure adaptation**: Maintaining elastic deformation during temperature or pressure fluctuations, compensating for displacement between flanges, and avoiding seal failure (such as low-temperature shrinkage during LNG transportation).
3. **Corrosion-resistant buffer**: Select materials (such as PTFE, graphite, metal spiral wound gaskets) according to the characteristics of the medium to resist chemical corrosion or high/low temperature erosion and protect the flange body.
4. **Vibration and noise reduction**: Absorbing vibration of pipelines or tanks to reduce structural wear at the connection.
